Built by runners,
for runners.

Ohana means family. And family looks out for each other — especially when you're somewhere new, running solo, wondering if this road is safe or that trail is worth it. Run Ohana is the friend who's already run every route and can't wait to show you the best one.

Every runner deserves a great local resource.

National running apps give you everything except what you actually need: which trail is runnable right now, which club welcomes beginners, where the parking lot is.

Run Ohana is the platform we always wanted. Hyperlocal, community-curated, and built to help runners of every level find their next great run and the people to share it with.

We started in Maine — because that's where we run — but we're building for every running community in America.

🗺️

Local first

We're building for the runner who wants to know the best 7-mile loop near where they live, not just the most Instagrammed trail in the country.

🤝

Community-driven

Run Ohana is for runners, built by runners. The best information comes from people who actually run these roads and trails.

🌲

No paywall, no ads

We believe runners deserve good information without spam. Our model is sustainable community support, not advertising.

📍

Expanding nationally

Maine is where we started, but we're building infrastructure to bring this to every running community in the country.

A runner first.

Jason Schlosser

Jason Schlosser

Founder · Maine

Jason came to running late — inspired by his daughter when she joined her cross country team. What started as a way to keep up with her became something much more: a love of exploring new places one mile at a time. As a hospitality guy for over thirty years, Jason has always believed that the best way to know a place is to meet the people who love it. Running gave him a new way to do exactly that — he's taken on the Tokyo, Boston, and Berlin marathons, and finds something meaningful in every mile of every new city. Run Ohana grew naturally from both worlds. Because every guest deserves to know where to run before they unpack — and every destination has a Local Guide who can't wait to show them.
